Education Advocacy

In my qualitative research class, our second semester has been focused on “the power of stories to make change”, thus we took on the Participatory Action Research, or PAR. Through the PAR methodology, I learned to engage in the entire research cycle by narrowing a focus, generating a research question, conducting a literature review, gathering data (ie. observation, artifact analysis, interview, survey), and utilizing thematic analysis to generate findings and recommendations. I worked in a team of four at school, however I created EAquitas independently as a submission to Emoticon-NYC 2022.
